I had the privilege to work for Fern Mallis, the creator of New York Fashion Week and a renowned fashion consultant, as a portrait artist. My role was to create more than fifty portraits of various fashion icons, such as Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, and Diane von Furstenberg, for her book called Fashion Icons. The book features interviews and photographs of these influential figures, along with my illustrations of their distinctive looks and personalities. I worked closely with Fern Mallis and her publisher to ensure that the portraits matched the tone and style of the book. The project was an amazing experience, as I got to showcase my artistic skills and learn from the stories and insights of the fashion icons.
